I had a fabulous time the other day chatting to Ella from Record the Resonance about all things songwriting! We discussed the pressures of having to define yourself to one genre, what it's like to co-write, and the importance of being honest with your music. Give it a read below.
Every songwriter has their own way of approaching writing. Some have to go to a specific place, writing with certain people, or even use a specific instrument. Some songwriters start with lyrics, whilst other start with the chords or a melody.
Pulled from my second EP Bitter Sweet Memories Paradise is one of my favourite tracks from the EP. The DIY record was a lot of fun to make and some of the best memories come from working on this song.
